Adults

Life is hard. Make your mental health one less worry.

Mental disorders are not personal failings. They are medical conditions that can be treated.

Our team serves adults with a diverse range of mental health concerns. We provide personalized treatment plans, including short-term cognitive behavior therapy, medication for mood disorders, and intensive therapy for severe disorders that may affect daily living. Your clinician will develop a tailored treatment plan using evidence-based methods to help you achieve relief. Should medication be necessary, your psychiatrist will thoroughly explain its benefits and potential risks and determine if it should be combined with psychotherapy.

Compassion is not a virtue -- it is a commitment. It's not something we have or don't have -- it's something we choose to practice.

We know the pressures of daily life are taxing. From the demands of work and family to trying to keep up with physical health and financial goals, it can be difficult to recognize when mental health is getting in the way. Here are some signs those other aspects of life might be improved with mental health treatment:

  • Feeling very sad or withdrawn for more than two weeks
  • Difficulty performing daily tasks or feeling unmotivated to engage in activities
  • Substance abuse or addiction issues
  • Extreme mood swings or irritability that affect relationships
  • Thoughts of self-harm or suicide
  • Other unwanted intrusive thoughts
  • Changes in sleep or appetite patterns
  • Difficulty concentrating, staying still, or making decisions
  • Sudden overwhelming fear, sometimes with a racing heart, physical discomfort, or difficulty breathing
  • Experiencing trauma or other life-changing events
